Most times, parents always insist that their child or children do things in their own certain ways. They always seem to think they’re always right and that hey make no mistakes.

No! In actual fact, they’re indeed always wrong.
We now have unlimited access to internet, but our parents did not have. So our way of thinking is according to our time and many times it is not accepted by our parents. Today most of us are very ambitious and like to try out different career options. But for our parents their career options were limited to very few areas. So forcing us to follow only the few options available to them during their days. That is not right. To think our parents are always right will be wrong and it will affect our progress. If that primitive fish accepted their parents always right, it would never come to land and evolution would never occur. We have our own logic and that we should use, even in those issues which are related to our parents opinion.
Parents are not always right, but it depends on the situation. At times you might feel that they are exaggerating or taking the wrong decision for you, but remember that they know what they are doing. Sometimes they themselves might end up onto the wrong side of the road but they know how to get back on the track. If they scold you, it is for your betterment. If they make decisions for you and you think that you are not suitable with that then go & have a talk with them. It’s okay to have different thinking, all you need to do is make them understand your choice.
If they say NO to you they surely know the repulsion, what it would result in. They know this world a little better than you, trust their instincts, have faith in them. After all, parents are not always wrong!
