In actually sense, customers are not always right. But, the reason why we say customers are always right is because you need that which the customer holds— money. You want to sell your products/service to a customer, so it’s only wise that you pamper customers no matter how errant they can get. However, nowadays, sellers are getting impatient themselves, as much as they want their products and services out their, they wouldn’t want you treating them like trash all because “customers are always right”.
No. But they should be treated that way, until you realize they are not worth it. Then you become firm. There are con artists and other forms of deceptive and criminal behavior out there and it can not be tolerated. Always show respect to everyone until they have proven they don’t deserve it. Always stay calm and in control. If it becomes necessary ask the customer to leave, even calling the police if necessary. Even a customer has no right in being belligerent or obnoxious. That is usually a sign that they are trying to get over on you. Everything can be handled in a calm and peaceful, respectful manner. If it veers from that, then there is a reason to be suspicious. M
