No. Crossdressing doesn’t directly fall under any LGBTQ+ category. Do not confuse GENDER IDENTITY with SEXUAL Orientation, these are two different concepts. Don’t confuse them and don’t let your mind play with you, it can be a serious complication. Dress the way you want and be with whomever your heart says it’s best.
Not necessarily. It is common to see people that think that cross-dressing is immediately associated with people who are genderqueer but itβs not really the case. People who crossdress like drag queens and drag kings are not necessary genderqueer. Drag is often performance-based and not identity-based. Being transgender/genderfluid/genderqueer is an identity-based issue, where one identifies themselves as eg. the opposite gender. However, crossdressing is a form of performance, an expression, not an identity. To me, crossdressing alone does not make you part of the LGBTQ+ community, but there could be other factors.
