I can totally relate to this as I had to go through this when I was a child. My parents were abusing each other verbally and sometimes physically. I was the mediator and confidante for each of their respective problems. So when problems hit the fan, i took it upon myself to try to solve it. Logistically and finance wise, when my father died abruptly when I was adolescent, I had to shoulder alot of responsibilities like managing real estate and people who were not emotionally mature.
