It is totally impossible to forgive and forget totally. You may forgive the person but you’re constantly reminded of how they treated you every now and then, this doesn’t have to make you treat them badly or differently but it serves as a constant reminder of what that person dis to you. You see, I believe you can totally forgive a person but may not be able to totally forget what they did to you even if you try to forget.

There are five known stages of grief, while it is important to note that people grief differently, it is also important to know that you may not necessarily go through all five all stages when grieving. The first stage is denial, you refuse to accept that which has happened. In fact, you ca carry on with your regular activities as though nothing happened. The second stage is anger, here, you’re already getting to know that what happened truly happened. This leads to the third stage, bargaining. This is somewhat like requests, making request to a supernatural being as regards to what happened. The fourth is depression, this is when the grief hits 100 percent (full blown). This is when you may need the attention of dear ones or even see a professional. The fifth stage is the acceptance, when you e finally accepted the doom that happened and you’re ready to carry on with your life.

There are times we all feel lost and broken. When this happens, some prefer to seek the help of others such as professional help.

I ask myself questions about what makes me feel lost and broken. I’ve come to realise that my powers come from within myself. So, I begin to enter deeper into myself, where all my true support comes from, and get connected and let go of the former negative thoughts about myself. I will then begin to take a different, positive view of myself, and do new things which will encourage me to live positively and move on with my life.
