      Allow yourself to feel multiple emotions, and never bottle up your feelings. There’s nothing worse than feeling bad about feeling bad. As someone who judges myself for not feeling happy all the time, it’s important for me to remember that my emotions don’t have to make sense, that I’m allowed to feel happy and sad at once. These two emotions are not mutually exclusive. Most emotions are multi-layered, we can feel grief, sadness, and relief at the same time. The pandemic didn’t make it easier too, there was a mad increase in social media usage, thus, making it even harder than ever to stay centered and not get sucked into the false idea that everyone else’s life is perfect and you are the only one suffering.

      I live a very simple life, some may call it mediocre life so far it doesn’t fit into their idea of living. But it is my living, I may as well live I as I want without bowing to pressures from anyone. Living simple yet meaning and quality life will have you rooting for only the genuine and important things, you’d find yourself getting bored of noises, mostly things that used to thrill you before. You start living life one day at a time, you stop worrying over things you have no control over. You’re exceptionally cam in stressful situations, that is because you already know that if it has a solution, there is no need to worry. And if it doesn’t have solution, then there is no point worrying.

What will help though is keeping up that positive self-talk. It’s like with any habit – the more you cultivate it, the more natural it becomes and the more you’ll feel it’s also true.
