I am more comfortable with tampons and I think they’re way better than sanitary pads. They are comfortable, and provide greater freedom, you shouldn’t be able to feel it inside you, if inserted correctly, you could forget you even have it on. You can swim with confidence, without worrying about messing up your bathing suit or the pool. Less exposure to the blood itself, especially great for the squeamish.

They are easily disposed of, as all materials can be flushed away. A pad needs to be securely wrapped up, and disposed of, therefore not the most discrete option.
Tampons come in an array of sizes for different absorbency, to cater for your specific flow. It is convenient as mixed boxes can be purchased. With pads, the higher the absorbency, the bigger or thicker you will need, making it more uncomfortable.
