You can say that again, the improvement in researches have made a lot of people relaxed. Compared to when HIV was first detected, it was seen as the “end of the world”. In fact, many people committed suicide even before the virus killed them. But now, thanks to the upgrade we now have in medicine. But does any of this mean that I want to become HIV-positive, that I will not do whatever I can reasonably do to avoid the risk? Not at all. HIV these days might have been reduced to an eminently manageable problem, but it’s still a problem. Quite frankly, I don’t need to add another problem to my life. Why risk it unnecessarily?
