Is there anything like safe investment in stock market?

I’ve seen lots of people who wish to buy stock try to delay their will to invest, majorly because of the situation of the stock market. The economy is a huge factor and plays a major role in stock market. Is there really safe investment in stocks? Or it’s all about taking the risk?

Hello, one thing I hear a lot of people say when it comes to buy stocks is “I don’t want to lose my money”. This isn’t completely off-base. If you don’t understand the risks involved with investing in stocks and take appropriate action to mitigate those risks, the stock market can certainly be a risky place to put your money. On the other hand, if you have a good working knowledge of the risks involved in stock investing, and invest accordingly, the stock market can be a lot safer than you might think. But, even the most stable stocks can fluctuate quite a bit, especially if the economy hits a rough patch. And as a whole, the stock market is quite risky over short time periods. It’s common for the market to fluctuate up or down. However, as a whole, and over long periods of time, the stock market is not very risky. As we’ve seen, the stock market tends to deliver consistent, strong performance over long time periods, so if you’ve properly diversified your portfolio and have a long time frame to work with, you shouldn’t be too concerned with the risk involved.

No investment is risk free. Once you have that in mind, the stock market is safe – you just have to follow some rules, take the losses with the wins. Some of the rules of stock investment is; the more companies you hold shares in, the less drop in value hurts. Also, the longer you can stay invested, the safer and richer you will be. When you get dividends, use them to buy more stock of the same company – the amount of dividends you get is based on the number of shares you hold. So, more shares equals bigger dividends. When stocks drop in value (they always do) use that as an opportunity to to buy cheap shares. Never sell your stocks when they drops, you will be at loss. Once you follow these rules, the stock market is all yours for safe investments.
