Avoid heat when you get a fresh waxing. Also, you should always avoid using perfumed lotions and creams as they can irritate freshly waxed skin. If your face is particularly sensitive, you may also want to avoid applying makeup to the waxed area for about 24 hours. Some people can wear makeup with no issues, but those with sensitive skin may experience irritation.
Oh for sure, you will definitely get bumps after waxing. Waxing causes stress on the skin areas waxed, and the hairs are forcefully pulled out. However, bumps after waxing can be prevented if a mild exfoliant is used to help clear away dead skin cells and reduce irritation. Also, if you often get skin irritation, it is advised you go for the mild wax.
