Lack of adequate moisturizing and exfoliating. Look for a cleanser that has jojoba beads. You can also use a wash cloth or brush to remove the dead skin that is flaking off. Sometimes a moisturizer cannot soak in well without a mild exfoliation first. Then, need a good moisturizer, while many people may recommend oil, realize that no oil can add water to your skin. A good moisturizer is a combination of oil and water as well as humectants that can help hold water to the skin. Humectants include glycerin and hyaluronic acid. Many herbal containing products add antioxidants, humectants, and mucilagenous components that also help the skin hold water.
You can add an oil serum on top of your moisturizer to help seal in moisture.
Your skin gets dry and eventually flaky because of the skin care procedures you have refused to abide with; this same procedures will be what will rejuvenate your skin back to life. Exfoliate then use an organic skin moisturizer. For your face use an oil serum and follow with a cream moisturizer and for your body use an oil-based moisturizer. Make sure your exfoliate first to remove all the dead skin s that the moisturizer can penetrate the skin. Drink one gallon of water per day.
