Why do people get so involved in other people’s business even though it doesn’t bother them in any way?

Why do people like to get involved in what other people’s are into? Always trying to know all and everything about their business?

  1. I’d say laziness is the reason. But then, I’ve realized that Judging others is so much easier than fixing your own problems. I can look at a person and say “Sheeeeeesh…what kind of hair is that!” or “Can you believe what he said about her?” and then not have to do anything but disdain. But when I look in the mirror, it’s hard to address my own personal shortcomings. Judging is easier. What’s more, there’s no penalty for it. If we looked down on judgmental people the way we look down on others, perhaps we might accomplish more.

  2. Some people like to think they know it all and think they know you so well, that they have the right to dispense any advice to you, like golden nuggets falling from heaven. Like pearls before swine. Some people are dense and just generally think they know better than you where you should work, what job suits you best, and how you should live life. And all that goes on with you.
