That can happen as a result of many things; Frequent intake of sweets or sugary substances. These foods being sticky in nature hold on to the tooth surfaces. This leads to microbial growth and tooth decay. Have more of abrasive foods like carrots, apples, pear. These fruits and vegetables stimulate the production of saliva and saliva is protective in nature. More saliva production lesser decay Inadequate oral hygiene or brushing technique. It is just not about brushing the teeth twice daily. Brushing teeth the right way matters the most. The correct method of toothbrushing is the modified bass technique.
