Whenever I receive a good news or I’m just happy, I’m always so conscious of the fact that something might not be right. Almost as if the joyful moment would usher in something bad.
Why do I always have this weird feeling about something bad happening just when I’m happy?

When you expect so much from something, you can feel this way. Your kind of people gets too happy and too sad very quickly so it is justified that you think something bad will happen if you get very happy. Actually something bad won’t happen in many cases but your feelings are quiet intense. It doesn’t matter if it related to happiness or sadness. You know everything in this world is in boolean terms. Day and night, happiness and sadness, high or low etc are making the life in balanced state. Excess of something will always lead to excess of opposite to it. Monks or saints chooses the neutral state so that they can’t be very happy or very sad. They can even control the emotion.
We don’t have much control over our emotions so if you are feeling too happy then you will be too sad from the opposite situation.
No thought is true or false. It’s just a thought. A possibility, except you have started to believe that this thought is true. Ask yourself times when this thought was false. Challenge this thought.
It’s not about removing fear, removing worry. It’s about doing what you want to do despite the fear or worry. Feel the fear and do it anyway. Feel the thought and live your life anyway.
The thought you have is not in your control. Your response to the thought is in your control. What thought comes into your mind is not in your control. How you respond to the thought is in your control. So let go of this thought. Let it pass through your mind. The more attention you give it by thinking about it the stronger it becomes. By not thinking about it, by allowing to exist, the thought will perish. It will disappear. It will be like you never even had this thought.
