I really don’t understand why celebrities are portrayed as demigods. Why? Why should you expect them to be perfect like ain’t they just humans like us why should people be so concerned with their business so bad?
Why do celebrities have so much responsibilities towards their fans— ain’t they just as human as the fans?

The thing most people don’t seem to realize is that celebrities are trapped in this existence, and more than a few of them would love nothing more than to live a small life once again, just so they can go to a restaurant or a supermarket and not be hassled by people. I see no reason to worship these people. I can admire their work, but at the end of the day I have to live with myself, and that can be difficult enough as it is. I don’t worship any deity, so why should I worship a celebrity?
Many ideas are presented by celebrities and their audiences often want to be like them. I think this speaks to a society of poor parenting skills if your statement is true. I mean why aren’t we instilling stronger self esteems in our children and the idea of being more unique than followers? Young people are especially susceptible to ideas and attitudes, especially glamorous ones, viral ones, award winning ones.
We all act like celebrities should be on their best behaviours at all times, not dress promiscuously, shave their heads, tattoo their faces, not beat their spouses or drive under the influence, but they do. They are mere humans, just like the rest of us!
