For, you have to realize that your dentures are not natural part of your body, so there’s really nothing much you can do with it. People who eat with dentures are individuals who have been using dentures for a long time and they already found a way round it. However, just like you, your dentures need rest. Remove your dentures for at least 6 hours a day – the hours when you’re sleeping are the most practical. The environment inside the mouth is very acidic, so the longer your dentures are exposed to it, the shorter their life becomes.
I have accidentally slept in mine and it just leads to me having a sore mouth eventually. When I was first learning about adhesive I used too much and couldn’t get my plate back out and had to sleep with them lol. I had alot of moments where my Bottom teeth were deep in my upper wounds when I woke up. It always hurt pulling them out. I’ve found that if I try to keep a schedule of removing them before bed my mouth is alot healthier in the long run.
