A long standing issue is the case of women being paid less than the men in their field. Why is this? Why can’t they be paid and appreciated just as the men?

In almost every country, women are often paid less than men for same work done. Although, many may say this pay gap that is often seen in almost all male dominated industries does not have any connection with discrimination against women at workplace, but it infact does. It is also assumed that when women choose careers, they simply go for the easy ones.
Men dominate the higher percentage of corporate world. Women are often paid less than men even though they’re in the same industry, performing same functions. Most times, a woman may have to do twice as whatever a man does so as to be noticed. Segregation in the labor market also reinforces this madness. Men are seen to be meant for some particular industries while women are considered designed for the weaker industries.
