This special act is often experienced on social media, almost everyday I see how someone is being hated on just because they have money. This set of people just can’t seem to do what’s right in the eyes of world, almost as if it’s a curse to be rich. Why’s this so?

Do you have any idea of how frustrating it is when you’re scraping by just to make ends meet and you see someone who just flaunts wealth all around? Irrespective of how they came about their wealth, it is not uncommon to find people attributing rich people’s source of wealth to dirty sources. People idolize the rich and want their lifestyle, they just don’t want it to be anyone they know. That makes it too real. They’re happy to gawk at celebrity homes, big yachts, super cars, and expensive clothes. Rich and famous seem to be okay, but just rich, living a few miles away, in the same city? The idea that they may have grown up in the same neighborhood, went to the same high school, went to the same University is too much to bear. Which is why almost all poor people out there believe the rich often steal or exploit to get their riches.
The idea that others with the same opportunities worked hard and were more successful highlights their own failures. The entire reason people go to high school reunions is to compare their life to their peers. Everyone thinks they’re above average and wants to be to the right of the curve. When they discover that they’re not, the blame game starts. They look for reasons why the person doesn’t deserve their success.
Many people believe the rich folks are threats to the economy. And that they got rich by taking advantage of other people. Taking for themselves, what belong to others. Of course, the poor people think wealth should be taken from the rich and given to them, because to them, they deserve it. They are jealous of rich people’s money or possessions.
They are jealous of rich people’s lifestyles because they seem more fun than theirs. Which is not a lie. And they believe the rich to be greedy for amassing wealth to themselves.
