I only use Apple Music, but a friend of mine told me to switch to Spotify. Which one is better?

According to my experience I still find Spotify to be the superior system, although I have been a Spotify premium user almost since they started, which makes me somewhat bias.
My take on Apple Music is that it is a system developed more for iPad than iPhone, which makes it somewhat cloudy and overly graphical on the phone. In that sense I think Apple have over-worked the UX of Apple Music. I think Spotify have benefitted greatly from being first a web-platform then a iPhone app. In that sense I think Spotify is the more refined solution of the two and the most practical and functional. The one thing I dislike with Spotify is that it is overly complicated to get to your playlists, it could benefit from being a first-selection alternative.
Both Apple Music and Spotify have advantages and disadvantages. You can’t tell which is better until you try both. You will know which suits you better after using them for some period. My advice is to sign up Spotify and take the 1-month free trial. Afterwards, you can sign up for Apple Music for a period of free trial. You will know your preferences then.
