Where is the safest place in a house?

  • 3

Do you have escape route(s) or safe place in your house? My roommate and I just discovered there is no escape route in the house we both stay. We actually just found out about this after we already paid a 2-year rent for the flat. The house has just one major entrance, which is the front door. What do we do in cases of emergencies  and the front door cannot be accessed. What part of the house can serve as a safe place?

The safest place in a house is the interior part of the basement. If you don’t have a basement, the next best option is an inner room without windows. It can be a closet or the interior hallways.
