Turning down an advice isn’t always because it’s a bad advice, but because you want to do things your own way. When do you know to turn down an advice and simply follow your guts?

You should have the ability to discern what advice is good for you and which is not good. Not being able to know which and which is good for you will have you following all advices like a puppet. You know yourself, you are the one that know what is best for you. Own that. No one can control your life like you, but not knowing what advice to take and one not to take will have you living your life on other peoples’ opinions.
We always know the right to do deep down inside us, such that when we seek advise from people, it’s just us seeking validation for that which we already want to do. Or that which were not sure of and we need clarification. An advice doesn’t have to be a good or bad one before I turn it down, in fact there are times I wish I didn’t turn down some advices as they turned out to be the right and good advise for me. I just like to believe that I trust my guts, even when my guts are leading me astray, at least it’s my guts after all.
