The life lesson i learnt very late in life is the fact that not everyone is trustworthy, this lesson, i learnt very late and in a very hard way. The other would be that the only person who cares if you succeed or fail in life is yourself. No matter how much you help the person or give to a person financially it is only a temporary fix which does nothing more then make them dependent on others or society.
If you are having a problem with something, ask for help. People are way more obliging than you think once they know what you are struggling with. I mean this especially for life struggles. Sometimes it takes a little guidance or patience to perform at your best and higher ups are usually more than ready to help. It took me forever to learn this, suddenly I had to admit that I needed help. Turns out people you think are the meanest people are willing to cut you a lot of slack if they know your situation and that you are trying.
