Well. Your period is nothing more than a combination of hormones levels shifting. Hormones rise as ovulation approaches, peak, an egg is released, the corpus callosum forms, it starts to produce the hormones that would be required should implantation occur, and if that doesn’t happen, about 2 weeks after ovulation a period occurs. I suppose if you had a bad yeast infection that started about a week before ovulation, it would be possible that it would interrupt the hormones and ovulation wouldn’t occur, thus you wouldn’t have a period, which can only occur after you ovulate.

Depending on your age and your recent sexual activity, a missed or late menstrual period could mean hormonal issues, pregnancy, or perimenopause. Vaginal discharge in the context of a missed period may point to pregnancy, an ectopic pregnancy, a yeast infection, or a sexually transmitted disease. Having a yeast infection will not directly affect your chances of getting pregnant. But the itchiness and irritation a yeast infection causes probably won’t put you in the mood for intercourse. Yeast infections are caused by a common fungus called Candida.
