The new farm Bills empower the farmers with the freedom to sell their produce to anyone who will offers a higher price compared to the price offered by APMCs, which will remain in force. MSP, procurement of food grains by the government, fertilizer subsidies, soft loans, pension to farmers, storage facilities, infrastructure facilities, and all other subsidies will remain without any change. And all subsidies will be directly credited to their bank accounts. The objective of all these reforms is to double the income of farmers by 2022. Which all seems like a good program for me.
As far as I know, I think it is helpful to the farmers as they get to have more options to sell their products. There will be no middle men between farmers and traders. Right to protest will always be with farmers and in the long run if they found that the laws become harmful for them then they can easily enjoy the rights by organizing the farmers of entire country.
