I think budgeting is tough, especially at the beginning when you probably want to invest in everything and anything to give it your best shot, but you need to be careful with your finances. Also, really growing your brand and building brand loyalty is hard. You have to commit to building relationships with those in your market, be consistent and provide excellent customer service.
The hardest part about being in business is having to have your finger on the pulse of all the different areas – finances, employment, marketing, operations, legals, etc. You can employ people and specialists to help you but you need to know how to delegate otherwise that will become anything “thing” that you have to do. One tip that I will always give people thinking about going into business is – follow your passion. If you are really passionate about your business all the long days and hard work will be worth it. Being in business is one of the most fulfilling but also the most frustrating things to do in your life. But if you love what you do you will make it work!
