  1. Call for help or get someone to take you to the nearest hospital right away. Loosen clothing, take off belts and jewelry – especially restrictive pieces like rings, watches, bracelets, and anklets.
If you have an ink pen on you, circle the bite wound and write the time and date on your leg. It sounds ridiculous, but this helps doctors gauge what the venom is doing. It might also help determine how much venom was used. Some snakes won’t inject any.
Try to keep the bitten area below your heart.
I realize this sounds crazy, but stay calm. The more panicked you are, the more your blood starts moving through your veins as well as the venom. Take deep breathes, chant, count numbers, listen to music.

  2. Tie a cloth above the bite. It should not be very tight and not very loose. To check, Try to insert your finger inside the cloth after you’ve tied it. If your hand goes completely, it’s loose. If even your finger cannot go inside, it’s very tight. If your ring finger or index finger can go inside only, it’s fine.
Never suck out blood. It’s of no use.
Keep the affected area towards the ground i.e. below the body, chest so that , due to the gravitational force, the flow rate decreases. Do not run or do any activity that enhances the heartbeat as then the blood will flow faster. Remain calm. Just think that you are in a Modern era where snakebites are treatable.
If some venom is outside the bite, which is not common, remove it immediately by either washing with clean water or clean cloth.
Now, rush the victim to a hospital that treats snakebite victims. Never create a havoc. Remain calm and let the medical experts take care of the patient.
