Meal prepping is planning a menu, gathering the ingredients necessary to prepare all the dishes in the menu, gathering the knives, measuring cups, measuring spoons, bowls, any speciality tools, pots/pans, safety tools such as hair nets, cutting boards, gloves. After doing the preceding, you then cut vegetables/fruits/meats or measure, mix, to recipe or memory specifications, then you bake/cook/fry/plate. Without doing any of the meal prepping then you will be eating raw food or not eat at all.
meal prep is the act of preparing meals or meal components ahead of time, and storing in the fridge or freezer.
By putting in the effort ahead of time, this makes getting meals on the table simple and efficient later on when you may be short on time.
