Coursera is an online portal which contains various courses mainly of computer science related . Here one can enroll for the different courses and complete them under the given time. In the course there will be professionals who will teach you about the course, there will be assignments .They also provide certification for the courses, but it us paid . But they also provide financial aid to the needy so one can try for it also. Overall it is a good place for e-learning .
Coursera is one of the best platforms to develop your skills and explore your interests. The site is in collaboration with many top universities such as Stanford, Harvard, Sydney and the rest. It is a well recognized platform as well. I am not commenting just on heard talks, but I myself took some courses on python and, at the end of the day I was completely satisfied with the quality of content I got to learn. It acts more as a boost to your CV , although you cant expect it to get you jobs single-handedly. But yes, it surely gives you an upper hand in the rat-race for a job. From pharmacy, engineering, creative writing to problem analytics, coding, business management, there are courses for all fields.
