If you keep suppressing your emotions then they will build pressure from inside. You might know but they will build pressure. And one day due to some small incident they might come out so vigorously that you would not be able understand what is happening. What is the solution? It is to dissolve those emotions. Our emotions are born from our mind. Our thought. You might think that emotions root from negative experiences but you are wrong if you think so. Negative experiences promulgate negative thought which gives negative emotions. You will observe that their are certain people who go through many hardships in life but still stay happy and satisfied. It is because negative situations cannot make their thought negative. They think positively. Similarly, many successful people surrounded by positivity think negatively and suffer.
Suppressed emotions can block energy in the feeling body. To let go these emotions, people take different routes like over eating, exercising too much, drinks, sex etc but tread good path and you can release these blocks If you are intellectually strong enough then you can sustain with suppressed thoughts for a long time , In anyother situations you may feel uneasy & fustrated for holding them. Suppression in any form is harmful, because everything has a limit beyond which it shall breakthrough. Suppression of emotions can lead to constant overthinking, lacks confidence in self, and frustration.
