In older vehicles with higher mileage synthetic will leak past gaskets and you will have oil leaking everywhere. The reason is the molecules are smaller and the oil is slippery than conventional oil. Synthetic is superior to conventional as it flows better in cold weather and doesn’t break down in higher temps. One can put on more miles between changes as well. I’ve experienced the leakage in more than one older vehicles. Other than that, I would use it in any vehicle.
