I had no idea this was a thing, my ex did this where she love bombed for the first month or so then three months in she said she didn’t feel the same about me anymore and broke up with me. I before didn’t believe in saying something was too soon or too much, because I was like if we feel it then why not. But now I see how it can be damaging. Lovebombing happens really fast. Naturally, it takes some time to fall in love and develop real emotions.
Love bombing is a rush, with higher highs and lower lows. It’s usually accompanied by sweet words, but little to no actions to back them up. Typical love bombers are pretty self centered, and you are a thing to possess to them. Boundaries will be pushed, because they don’t respect you as a person. If a love bomb is rejected, the giver could snap and show their true colors. Love, actual healthy love, is gentle and steady. Quite seemingly boring compared to the rush of love bombing.
