Going down a rabbit hole is when you are reading about something or maybe watching a video, and something interesting catches your attention and you want to find out more about that, which leads to doing research on something else connected to that, etc. You typically end up spending a lot of time reading or watching about various related topics all because of that one thing you were reading about in the beginning.
Going down the rabbit hole can mean different things for different people. But this is what I understand as going down the rabbit hole; doing life alone in a depressed and lonely state. You become numb to everything you used to enjoy doing, you have zero will to do anything productive. You are just tired of everything and life itself. You see, it’s pretty hard to come out of a rabbit hole, it takes strong will and power to get out. I’ve seen some people go down the rabbit hole and never make it out again. Some even die.
