  1. This is something that helps me a lot, though I’m not sure if this is the best way to explain it, is this. It can be a blessing and a curse, it depends on how you use it. Imagine that wherever you go, no matter where it is, act like you own the place, you’re there all the time, and that you’re basically a regular there. You will naturally act more confident, and even though you may not notice a difference, your confidence will show to other people and they will be drawn to you. I’ve been socially awkward for my entire life, and I’ve worked hard the past 6 months or so to become more socially adept.

  2. I see it as a way to learn about yourself, about your habits and limitations, and about the state of being confident. As you walk and act in a particular way, notice how it seems physically strange. Notice which muscles feel tighter than usual. Notice which muscles you have to work hard to relax. Notice how it feels emotionally strange as well. Do you feel like another person? Do you feel self-conscious? Do you feel pressure to revert to your usual manner?
