Possible causes of hair loss include androgenetic alopecia, pregnancy, and telogen effluvium. Androgenetic alopecia is another term for male or female pattern baldness. It is a very common cause of hair loss. Both male and female pattern baldness is genetic. There are a wide range of conditions that can bring on hair loss, with some of the most common being pregnancy, thyroid disorders, and anemia. Others include autoimmune diseases, polycystic ovary syndrome and skin conditions such as psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis.
Washing Hair: Daily washing of hair will result in hair loss. Because we do not know the quality of the water we are using.
Iron deficiency: Iron deficiency in people can result in hair loss.
Mental stress: Mental stress can also result in hair loss. Nowadays young people between 20 and 30 yrs have hair loss mainly due to work pressure.
Hereditary: Although baldness comes from the X chromosome which comes from mother, the son of a bald father is more likely to get bald at an early stage than other persons.
Infections: Hair loss can also occur to fungal infection. Fungal infection can cause much faster hair loss.
