Lemon and honey in hot water is a very simple remedy and is very effective in curing a hangover. Lemon helps to boost your liver functions and honey helps your metabolism to kick start again. This will definitely help restore your energy levels. Bananas also helps. It contains around 75% water and helps with the dehydration. it has high amounts of Vitamin C which neutralise the free radicals and helps prevent liver damage. It also helps to replenish the natural sugars of the body.
If you drink plenty of water, it will regulate your blood circulation and will make you feel fresh. Try to consume water as much as you can. You can add coconut water if drinking water seems a difficult task to you.
Tomato juice- Vegetable juices contain fructose which is helpful in controlling hangover levels. Also, the enzymes are present which help in curing after effects at a very high speed.
Eggs and toasts— You can start your day by eating eggs and toasts. Eggs have cysteine which breaks the alcohol inside the body and helps the person to overcome quickly whereas toasts act as a filter to extract all the rubbish from the body. The combination of both may help you avoid a hangover.
Ginger – Ginger helps in curing vomit and nausea. It helps in the digestion of alcohol quickly and soothes the stomach. You can chew pieces of ginger or boil it in the water with lemon and honey to drink it.
