Have you ever thought that your country might have some things so backward, such that when compared to other countries, your country appears to be so archaic and not up to standard. It might be ideologies, food, ways of dressing, some specific lifestyles. Those things other countries already moved past.
What are the things you think your country has backward when compared to other countries?

My birth country Nigeria sure has a lot of things backward, but the most obvious is how the Nigerian Police Force is operating. There is really nothing much to say about a country whose police men and special anti-robbery squad harass, extort and even kill innocent citizens. These are units set up by the government to protect the citizens and work against crimes in the country. Also, the education system in Nigeria is so appalling. It’s funny how he government officials annually budget huge sum to be used in the education sector but end up looting such funds. Of course that’s because they don’t have their children schooling in the country. Nigerian schools owned by government are deadbeats.
Pakista—religion plays the central role in the lives of Pakistanis. Pakistanis sit and do nothing and just pray hoping they will be rewarded by God for their prayers. What is the meaning of that? They blame a lot of bad happening on destiny even though it was due to being irresponsible. They use God to justify everything!
And their hypocrisy is unbearable; they secretly want alcohol and probably have tried it in their life yet they would criticise anyone who would admit drinking. They twist religion to suit their needs. Men would have sex with many women including prostitutes yet would prefer a “virgin” wife who is traditional. Why not just accept each other for who we are? Religion is everywhere in Pakistan. In government, education, judiciary, culture. A major reason why the country is so backward and not progressing.
