Don’t think you should ask any serious questions on the first date; questions like former lovers, salary, savings or cost of housing, poliical affiliation, etc. Think it’s safer to stay with general questions like movies, books, TV shows. If there are other dates, you could go deeper, but try not to ask questions that are too personal, like “have you ever been to prison?” Of course, if he says yes, there will probably not be a second date.
Do tell him things about yourself, but also, don’t get too personal. Hearing that your periods are very heavy is something he really doesn’t have to know yet, or ever! Keep it light and fun, unless you don’t want to see him again.
There are three words to never use on a first date. Those words are, love and sex and marriage. Keep the conversation light ask about interests and likes and dislikes talk about the things you do have in common and learn from each other. If your question sounds like it might be inappropriate or creepy, don’t ask it. After all, if you’re really interested then you want a second date.
