So many times, the goals we set are just a list of wishes and we try to accomplish too much. Trying to do everything just means you are setting yourself up to accomplish nothing. Narrow your list and really make sure you are not being trapped by a goal list that is just too long. One of the most important aspects of achieving your goals is maintaining balance in the other areas of your life.
I think the biggest motivation-killer is hopelessness. There are always some people who from time to time show up in our lives and tend to jump to hasty conclusions based on the limited knowledge they have about you or purely on assumptions. At that time, maybe you are already struggling a little bit in your pursuit or are facing tremendous difficulty, and you might be doubting yourself as to whether you can make it or not, so when someone else swoops in, reinforcing your negative thoughts, all of a sudden, you just lose all hope. On such an occasion, there is a high chance that you might give up.
