I think it’s a good tool for designers. It may also be suitable for quick prototypes and mock-ups. I also used it as a crutch until I learned how to code. Now that I can code, I hardly ever touch my webflow account. I usually use a framework like foundation or bootstrap in conjunction with a js framework like ember.js. I don’t think I could really go back to webflow from that.
Webflow can be a great tool to use in the right project. Relatively simple landing page or marketing brochure style websites tend to be the best fit in my experience. Webflow can be a great way to start learning HTML and CSS visually. If you start with Webflow and move onto real coding after you’ll find that you learnt a lot just by using Webflow.
