He’s not a full god, but I believe one of his ancestors was the son of Hermes so he has a little divinity at least. His story is one of the most popular ancient works ever and there is plenty to draw from his speaking abilities. It was often said that once he spoke, no one could resist him.

Odysseus, was not any kind of God. Odysseus was favored very much by Athena, but was not a child of a god nor was he a god. In Ancient Greek Relligion, the Dodekatheon, it was believed that appart Gods there were many others Semi Gods. They were semi Gods because their father usually was God and their mother a common person. It was believed that these semi Gods, had special cabilities or additional strengths, etc. Odesseus however, the main character of Odessea, the Grate Hommer poem, was the King of Ithaca, an Ionian Island. He was the son of Laertis and Anticlea.
