By definition, not every volunteering opportunity is going to come with any type of payment. However, there are many volunteering organizations abroad that offer payment in exchange for services rendered. So if you wish to get paid while volunteering, you may want to consider surfing through the web to find organizations that pay and apply to them.
Really? It’s called “volunteering” for a reason. It means you’re rendering a free service, which in most cases, you won’t get paid for. It’s not an employment, it’s you deciding to render your services. This is why I always advice people to volunteer only at their spare time, so it doesn’t block your work or business. Normally, people don’t get paid for volunteering, but the organization you’re volunteering for can decide to take care of some of the expenses the volunteers may incur; such as transportation fare and feeding.
