Would you rather rent a wedding gown for your bug day or buy one? Given how overly expensive new gowns are these days, it’s alarming.

It is okay to rent wedding gowns, if you can find one that you love and that fits perfectly, it’s a great idea. But wedding gowns often don’t fit perfectly, they need alterations more often than not. Dresses, especially strapless ones have to fit like a glove in order to stay up, it’s not like a suit where it just hangs off of your body.
My sister made hers even though I talked her into renting one. But I think being able to rent a wedding gown is dependent on your location. She didn’t really have too many options available, so she decided to make a relatively cheap one. And fortunately for her, she was able to sell it off on eBay as soon as she was done with it.
