Why does it seem like Netflix just accept any kind of movies into its platform, regardless of the quality? There are too many substandard movies on Netflix, this watering down the quality of the platform.

There are still good movies on Netflix, but just a few of them. So, the problem is now sticking hand into a heap of shit before you can be able to come up with a good quality that meets your standard. But I still find Netflix Originals great and interesting. So the issues is actually the other movies that are being added to the platform.
I don’t think they buy movies which have been declared not good enough for cinema release, so the ones they often get have that ‘straight to dvd’ quality going on. I can go ahead to list very bad movies that shouldn’t even be on Netflix, yet they’re the ones that fill Netflix. It’s even more disappointing when I’m expecting to see a particular movie on the platform but I end up getting disappointed.
