I’ve been sober for almost five years, staying swaying from alcohol. Will I be spoiling my sobriety if I have some champagne?

Well, there is a substantial amount of alcohol in a bottle of champagne. While I wouldn’t want to encourage you take it, given how far you’ve come with your sobriety. I’ll just let you know that falling short doesn’t mean you’ve failed, it only means you’re human and you can always start again. Look, see it this way, you’re way better than who you were before going sober.
If you don’t wish to go back to your alcoholic ways, don’t drink the champagne dear. There are many ways to celebrate great things that do not involve champagne🍾 A champagne has as much as 12% alcohol content, although the content varies based on the brand. But champagne can equally get you drunk and the sad part is, you wouldn’t realize how drunk you are until very much later.
