This is a very tricky question, it’s an incredibly complicated issue. Some biological created women have high levels of testosterone. While transwomen lose the extra muscle after three years post surgery, though they still have their original bone structure and some argue this gives them some advantages,!like extra weight. My personal view is that once the strength issue is gone that it’s perfectly reasonable for transwomen to be allowed to compete. We’ve been doing this for a very long time and it doesn’t seem to have skewed the results terribly much.
I don’t doubt that trans-female athletes are dedicated and hard working, but I think that allowing them to compete against biological females will have a negative effect on biological females participating and competing in athletic competitions. If I had a daughter, who was a high level athlete, I would be hesitant to let her-if she’s a minor- to compete against a trans-female athletes. The only solution here, is to create a trans-female and trans-male categories in athletic competitions.
