A chillum is a smoking apparatus similar to a pipe used to smoke. Chillums are a good method to smoke, however they are usually for the more experienced since hitting a chillum is tough and you inhale a lot of smoke at once which may irritate your throat. Try getting used to a bong first, then move on to chillum.
Chillums are pretty straightforward and easy to use. With the chillum being preferred by many despite its straight design which can make it prone to having the contents spill out of the bowl, if you are not too careful. Just use it like you would any other pipe, being careful not to tip it over.
