There are important safety and legal guidelines to consider before leaving any child unsupervised for an extended period of time. can you not take them to work? or get a friend to help with this? it could be asking too much of a neigbor who you do not seem particularly close with to help take care of your child just saying
I would advise against that because the rate of child molestation, assault and rape is quite much these days and also your neighbor might leave your child unattended to? try to get a nanny or explain to your place of work why they need to provide a space you can probably just keep your child to sleep or play around.
