What are the things to know before a person decides to quit a job and go into full-time freelancing?
The truth is, there are no generally acceptable routes to outting a job and freelancing full time. I cannot really tell you that there’s a precise formula for this, and everyone’s situation is always different. But what I can tell you is that you will most probably never be ready, until you finally decide to d it. I am not saying this in order to discourage you, but what I actually mean is that if you keep waiting for a time when you feel like you’ve got this in the bag, you will probably never begin.
Do you already have a solid clientele- client base? What exactly do you do as a freelance? There are some freelancing jobs that are better kept as a side thing, not full time thingy. If you’re a writer as you’ve decided to go full time freelancing, then it can only mean that your writing gigs are pouring in money for you. It’s not just always about the passion, can your passion pay your bills when you leave that job that foots your bills? Do you have sufficient skills that can make you thrive at the freelancing job or you just want to get into it full time with the basic knowledge?
