An old flame is a person’s ex. I sure love reading stories about old flame, very interesting stories that I may have experienced too. There was this Latino guy from my Sophomore year in college that we both got deeply into other, he was my first love and while I didn’t know if I was his, I was sure he truly loved me. But then, love alone is never enough. Even after going our separate ways, and stayed out of touch. Fate always have a way of bringing us together, in different and weirdest circumstances.
“An old flame” is just a common phrase that is used to describe and ex lover, someone you used to be with. Someone you once had an emotional and compassionate relationship with. It’s called an old flame for a reason, this old flame is mostly a person’s weakness, even after years of trying to move on from the person, you may find yourself falling right into the lures of an old flame. That’s why they say “never let an old flame burn you twice”.
