Different banks in Nigeria now have their USSD code making it easy for people to make transactions on their phones without having to subscribe or use the internet.
The USSD code also have a personal PIN CODE of 4 or 5 digits which is a form of security against fraudsters and its very important cause it’s used for all transactions.

Asides having a USSD code for your bank, I believe the best bank to open a student savings account with is GT bank. It is very pocket friendly to students and it operates on a Zero savings account whereby you can withdraw the last amount you have in your bank, most banks keep the last #1,000 in your account some #500 but Gt bank student’s savings account allows you to withdraw everything.

GT bank has a lot of savings accounts but as a student, the one you need to create is GTcrea8 e-savers, it Is very easy to operate and you won’t spend less time going into the banking hall cause most of the basic services can be done around you.
With GT bank student account you can pay money into your account using GT bank’s special cash ATM, you can withdraw cash anywhere you are with your ATM, you can pay in dividend warrants in your account, there is free access to internet banking.

Opening a GT student savings account is very easy, because GT bank staffs go from hostels to Classrooms to help you with opening your account making it easier and less stressful.

However to open this account you have to provide some specific documents,
1. Filling of the GT bank Application form.
2. A valid means of identification ( School ID or any other ID)
3. A passport photograph.
